It wasn’t Christmas without Aunty Rene’s homemade plum pudding, a recipe passed down over 100 years that filled hearts and bellies. The week before Aunty Rene passed from breast cancer at the grand age of 96, she was baking so the family wouldn’t be without. This beer is a tribute to the love she put into each one. Using Italian plums, a complex grain bill, graham crackers, and a subtle blend of Christmas baking spices, this Porter is a unique experience of dark dried fruit, light spices, sweet, toasty breadiness that is balanced, dry and perfectly robust to pair with every Yule celebration. Proceeds from this beer go towards the Alberta Cancer Foundation for breast cancer awareness.
